Ugh........ my deposition from that stupid car accident in 04 was yesterday. I hated every minute of it, but overall it went well.
Wyatt stayed with Nana while we were there. He was sleeping in his swing when we got there, and he didn't wake up until we were leaving, which was 3 hours later....he didn't sleep worth a flip last night.
I think I have him back on schedule, or am trying to get him there anyhow.
COUNTDOWN: 28 hours till our Jamo gets home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our birth story....... continued..........
Where did I leave off? Oh, right......August 27..... The results of my urine test came back positive for pre-eclampsia. So, I was to take it easy again until my next appointment.
September 2nd - Same story...different day. High BP, and protein in the urine. When we (Richard's Mom was with me, thank God!) got to L&D they monitored me again for a while. Finally, the nurse came in and said I was staying.... they were inducing me. At this point I was so nervous, but excited at the same time. We called Richard, and he said he was on his way! He was going to stop by the house first to change clothes and pick up his Dad.
On the way to my room Dr. Werner stopped me and said that we had made it this far, there was no sense in waiting and putting him in any more danger. I couldn't help it, I started crying. After 10 years of trying and 39 weeks of waiting.....it all came down to this. It was a strange thing!

Halloween. FINALLY!!!
I know it's taken me WAYYYYY too long to get these Halloween pictures up. Here they are though.
Saturday the 25th , we went to the Pumpkin escape in Starke. Richard's parents were popping kettle corn there. We dressed Wyatt up in his monkey costume that aunt Nancy got him. He didn't stay in it for long because it was a little warm.

Byron and Ginger were there with Tayler. She was sooo cute as Raggedy Ann!!

We also saw Jeff, Kristen and the boys. I didn't see much of Clay and Briar...they were busy playing the games and getting candy.
So, there are the pictures...... let me know if you have any pictures of your own that you would like to send to be added.

I'm getting there......

I had intended on having some Halloween pictures posted today, but I haven't managed to get them edited yet. Since I only have dial-up here, i have to reduce the file size, or they will never upload. That being said......it takes me a while to get it done, but i do have a couple more belly shots to share in the meantime. Maybe in a few days I'll have some new pictures ready.

In and out......

Ok, so it's been a long time since I last posted. Considering that Wyatt is 8 weeks old today, I figured that there was no time like the present to continue, right??? There is so much to tell, that it may take me a few days to get caught up...so bear with me!
I think I'll just start back in July. I was having my weekly appointments with Dr.Warner, and my blood pressure kept getting a little higher every time, the swelling was worse, and there was usually 2+ protien in my urine (which is not a good thing). I was getting pre-eclampsia. GREAT, just what I needed. So, I was put on bed rest. It was so hard to do....just sit around. Yack.
Skip ahead to August 18th, 37 weeks pregnant and counting. My BP was 169/97, and the baby wasn't moving very well. She sent me to labor and delivery to be monitored. I was hooked to a machine that took my BP every 20 minutes, and the machine that keeps track of the baby's heart beat and contractions...if there are any (there weren't). My BP came down enough to go home, and the baby looked fine. After 6 hours in there, we were free to go.
I tried my best over the next week to stay calm and off of my feet. Not an easy thing for me to do. I had places to go, people to see!!!
August 25.....38 weeks.....2 weeks to go. Had my appointment with Dr.W, and again, high BP and protein in my urine. I was sent back to L&D again. This time I was only there for about 4 hours. Everything was ok, and I was sent home with a 24 hour urine collection test. Basically, every time I had to go, I had to pee in a thing that looked like a hat, then pour it into another container and keep it in the refrigerator. It had to be returned after 24 hours, so Richard's Mom and I took it back to the hospital the following evening. They said it would be a day or two before we knew anything.

Shy boy???
I had my appointment for the 4D ultrasound on Monday. He's doing good, still cooking away in there. The only problem we had was that he was being stubborn and shy. He is laying face down across my belly. Head is to the right, butt to the left, and his legs are curled underneath him.
They were so nice, they told me to come back Friday at 3:00 and they would try again to get a good picture of his face. I am so excited......I love just making sure he's doing ok in there!!
The one thing they did notice is that the cord is right in front of his face as well, of course that made me super worried.....hoping that it doesn't end up wrapped around his little neck.
The ultrasound tech kept saying he was a big boy!!! Funny, I don't feel that big, and have gained only 12 lbs so far.
I will keep you updated on Friday's visit and hopefully post some pictures!!!
