Run Forrest.......Run!!

I can't believe how fast time flies by.  Wyatt started walking the Sunday after his birthday, so he was a year and 2 days old.  It's so funny to watch him, he looks like a little chimpanzee running all over the place.  He's getting better at ti every day.  First he started out slow as Christmas, now he runs and stomps, and will even throw the ball for Pig (he's got one hell of an arm on him for his age)! We fully expect him to play baseball or football with the way he chunks the ball.

I am working on finding the right firewire port to install on my PC so I can upload some videos, but for now...pictures will have to do....

These were taken on September 6, 2009 at Nancy's lake house.  Wyatt loves to swim, and be with his Daddy!

Happy FIRST Birthday Wyatt Lane!

I was totally exhausted by the end of the day, but when all was said and done...it turned out great!  Everybody who loves him was there....even had  picture of Grandma there so she could see him open his presents.  That's my only wish for today...that Grandma would have made it this far with him, that she could have seen him destroy his cake.  I did feel like she was with him....I almost always feel like she is there.

Dear Wyatt,

We waited so very long for you....and never thought that we would be here today.  Watching you play, hearing your laugh.....but you are here, and for that we are so lucky and grateful.

It seems so weird for me to think that just a year ago I was holding you for the first time.  In a way, it seems like the time has gone by so slowly, but on the other hand...it seems like just yesterday.  I still remember the smell of your skin, and how soft your hair was.  How your blue eyes just seemed to stare straight into my heart.  You are my everything! 

Here it is a year later...your first birthday!!! You have changed by leaps and bounds.  It is so breathtaking to watch you learn, or to try something new for the first time.  I miss the baby you were, but look so much forward to the child and man you will be. 

You can do anything that you set your mind to.  If you can dream it, you can do it! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you CAN'T do something....you can do anything that you put your mind to.  You have already shown us just how smart you are, and I know that you will keep making us proud as you grow.

Live life to it's fullest.....and never have any regrets.  Love like there is no tomorrow, laugh like you have never laughed before.  Keep an open mind, and don't judge others just on what you see.  Take time to look around and appreciate what you have.  Most of all.....Love God with all of your heart.

Always know that I love you so much, and always will.  I will always stand behind you, and be there for you, no matter what your life may bring.

Happy Birthday Aunt Naaaneeee!!!

 Nancy's birthday was the 31st of August.  We celebrated with a few friends and some family out at the lake. We really had a lot of fun.
